We have so many exciting things happening.Coming up next week is our annual Scholastic NZ Book Fair. This year’s theme is ‘Book Fair Garden’
Here’s the details:
? Wellesley School Library
? Monday: 2:30pm -6:30pm
Tuesday and Wednesday: 2:30pm-5pm
? When you come for parent interviews next week we would love for you to come to the library with your child and have a browse. Let’s grow readers! Eftpos available.
? Your children will also get to browse through the Book Fair and make a ‘Wish List’ to bring home (we always stress to the children it doesn’t mean they will get all, or any of the items on the list!). Once you have discussed the Wish List and agreed on purchases, you can fill in your credit card details on the reverse OR give you child cash in an envelope and indicate which book(s) you would like to buy. Have child return the Wish List to Laurina and she will sort the books.
? Every book you purchase next week at our Book Fair earns us points. With those points we can buy more books. We are delighted that this year those books will be donated to our friends at Ronald McDonald House Wellington. Apparently they have not had any new books for ages! What better way to snuggle in with a book when you are feeling poorly. We’ll also have a box at the Fair where you can purchase and donate any new books on the spot ?
