Dublin native Sarah Maria Griffin travels across the Atlantic to launch her literary horror novel Eat the Ones You Love at Greenlight! Shell Pine needs some help—and according to their sign in the window, the florist shop in the mall does too. But as she settles into the work with flowers and the beautiful shop owner Neve, a hungry orchid growing out of sight in the heart of the mall is watching them closely. He's hungry... and he has a plan for them all. A masterful exploration on the blurred lines of obsession, and the all-consuming nature love, Eat the Ones You Love tells a story about desire, dreams, decay—and working retail at the end of the world. Acclaimed local author Zoraida Córdova (The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina) joins Maria Griffin for an in-depth discussion, followed by an audience Q&A and signing.
