The Shrine, in conjunction with the Pontifical John Paul II Institute, is pleased to host a ‘Book Discussion’ on Christ, the Destiny of the Human Person by Bishop Jean Laffitte, the emeritus Prelate of the Sovereign Order of Malta. Laffitte’s book argues that filial anthropology — the origin and destiny of human life as children of God — is the primary way to understand the meaning of life. Jesus Christ, as the eternal Son, therefore, reveals the fullness of human existence.

Discussion will include Carl Anderson, Past Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus; Father José Granados, Superior General of the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary; and Fr. George Woodall, Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish in Skegness, UK, and the translator of the book.
