Women's Storybook Project connects incarcerated mothers to their children through the joy of literature. We have a book club that is geared toward understanding the lives of the incarcerated. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month to read a book written by or for the incarcerated.

Please join us for our March meeting as we discuss the unforgettable collection of stories in which the women of York Correctional Institution describe, in their own words, how they were imprisoned by abuse, rejection, and self-destructive impulses long before they entered the criminal justice system. A true testament to the process of finding oneself and working toward a better day.
