"Bonsai trees represent the idea of a perfect balance between nature and art, representing how people can attain peace within themselves."If you've ever been intrigued by bonsai trees and would like to learn more about them, join us on Saturday, September 28th for our Introduction to Bonsais seminar! The Eastern Iowa Bonsai Association will be leading a captivating discussion about the different bonsai trees and how to care for them. The class will cover everything from the time of purchase to yearly care, including fertilizing, trimming, styling, repotting and overwintering. They will have several of their own bonsai trees on display, and we will also have some available for those who would like to give bonsai trees a try! The class will last about an hour and a half, but the instructors will be around afterward for follow up questions and further discussion.
