It's been 90 years since the infamous outlaws Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow robbed the last bank they would target in Stuart, IA just a month before their inevitable end. Join us at Ericson Library on Wednesday September 25th as we welcome retired teacher, historian, and Dexter, Iowa, native Rod Stanley as he shares the fascinating story about Bonnie & Clyde's escapades in Iowa. Many eyewitness accounts are included in his presentation.
We will also hear from the current owners of the Bonnie & Clyde Hideout - Historic Bank Robbery Airbnb in Stuart, IA with their restoration plans.
The evening will start with a Bonnie & Clyde documentary at 5pm, followed by Rod's presentation at 6:30pm. There will also be classic cars on display for photo ops.
Then join us for a fun speakeasy themed night at Bottled Bliss from 8-10pm, just a short block from Ericson Library. 20's/Flapper/Gatsby attire encouraged for this history infused evening.
