Bonkhouse and House Pardee Present: HOUSE HOUSE Halloween Double Feature on OCT 13th at 1PM
When the crypt doors creak and the tombstone quake, spooks come out for HOUSE HOUSE, the 3rd annual halloween double feature from Sunday Afternoon Bonkhouse and House Pardee!
In 2022 we probed your brain with 2 alien invasion cult classics (The Blob & Night of the Creeps), in 2023 we brought the demonic bugs (Ticks & Demons) and now in 2024 we bring you HOUSE HOUSE: A House themed double feature screening with 2 more beloved b-movie classics with a preshow and intermission showing original animations, on theme retro trailers/ commercials and a spooky goody bag with art prints, original stickers, bonkhouse pins and halloween candy ALL INVOLVING HOUSES.
Oh cool you're thinking, but what are the movies for this here HOUSE HOUSE event? We can't tell you! It's a Bonkhouse secret! and also us being coy. But I'm pretty sure they have to do with Houses! HAUNTED Houses! A little gander at the poster should help gives clues. Spooky clues. But trust us, you will love them as much as us.
If you loved all that and love houses, well listen up! On October 13th at the Lumiere Cinema in Los Angeles at 1pm we will be handing out candy and goody bags with prints, stickers, pins and more (limited to first 70 people) while everyone takes their seat. After a brief intro with our hosts Alex Pardee, Josh Barish and Austin Stock, we will be starting the preshow with original animations and short films, retro trailers and commercials and more! (Starts at 1:10pm and is around 15 mins long) After that the first film starts around 1:30pm with an intermission (with more original stuff!) followed by our 2nd film. We can't force you to come early (one day perhaps) but we highly reccomend checking out the preshow and intermission. We put alot of love into them!
Yeah, but this is LA man! What about PARKING though?? Well listen up even more! Its all happening on a Sunday afternoon (like the name Sunday Afternoon Bonkhouse, get it) so there will be FREE street parking on Wilshire blvd around the theater. If you dont nab those, there are two other options. There is a very close parking structure on 140 South Doheny with every hour being $5 and a max of $25 for the whole day.
