Students, Many of you had just arrived in Cape Girardeau and are now experiencing student life on campus. We hope your studies are going well and you are enjoying your time here.Friday, Oct 4th is a date you might want to add to your calendar to experience an American Classic Hayride and Bonfire sponsored by members of St. Andrew Lutheran Church.
Leonard and Janet Fiedler are inviting international students to their home for a bonfire/hayride. The evening will include a hike in the woods, a wagon ride on country roads, and campfire for food and drink. We hope this activity will provide you with an American tradition and us a chance to get to know you and welcome you to Missouri.
Members of the church will provide transportation to and from the event. If you are interested in attending use the QR code to sign up. Transportation is limited, therefore we will accommodate students on a first response. basis.
For those going, we will gather at the International Student Center parking lot at 3:45, Oct 4th and arrive at the Fiedler home around 4:30. Evening weather is always questionable and can get quite chilly during autumn so bring a jacket and wear hiking shoes and be prepared for an outside adventure to add to your American experiences.
