Bonds, Bombs and Brexit: An Economic Seminar

Our main guest will be Ethar Alali, an Industrial Mathematician, Technologist and Economic Modeller.

Ethar will present a seminar on important international relations, current and historical politics and how it has all led up to the contemporary global economic issues and the cost of living crisis in the UK. There will be time for discussion and questions.

Guest Bio:

Ethar is an Industrial Mathematician, Technologist and Economic modeller helping organisations like the NHS and the UN identify socially equitable operating models that help increase organisational effectiveness. He also helps socially conscious organisations develop greener and socially equitable operating models and has been on the board of trustees of charities like the Citizens Advice Bureau and Burnage Library. He grew up in the area and takes that northern soul with him wherever he goes to influence whoever he works with. He’s currently working on creating new donut economies that balance the needs of community, economy and ecology.
