Bonalu is a traditional Hindu festival centered on the Goddess Mahankali from Telangana. This festival is celebrated in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The word “Bonalu” is derived from the Telugu word “Bhojanalu,” which means “feast” or “meal.” During this festival, devotees offer special prayers, perform rituals, and make offerings of food in decorated pots and other items to honor the goddess and seek her blessings.
At Curry House we celebrate with authentic dishes served during this very special festival in Hyderabad - most colorful and divine experience right on your plate – this is a hometown of Raj so you are all invited to try best flavors from his home.
