Newest committee member, Tom Bolton, selects some of his favourite performers for this variety night. He writes:-"There’s such a wealth of musical talent in Dunedin that it’s been hard to know where to start in putting together a concert night at the Club. After much looking around this way and that, four names came to mind. Four performers I’ve heard play only once or maybe twice, and only for a few songs on those occasions. Four people that I’ve been wanting to hear more from, and who I think will make for a great night of music.

To add another level to the variety, they’ll all be on stage together for the whole night, taking turns in a round-robin format. Mixing it up with a wide range of songs and styles. There may be some collaborations, there may be some audience participation. Expect the unexpected. And, they’ll be joined in the second half by the fabulous John Meddings providing some of his tasteful improvised guitar backing.
