April 5th, 2025, Boldo Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a fishing tournament on Smith Lake at the dam. Registration will begin at 5:30 Boats will launch at 6:30am and must be back by 3:00pm for weigh in. $100.00 entry fee per boat, max 2 people per boat, 5 fish limit. The payout will be as follows:1st. $3,000*
2nd. $2,000*
Biggest Fish $1,000*
*This is based on 100 boats. Payouts will be adjusted depending on final number of boats entered.*
We will also have a car/tractor show at Station 1 after the tournament. The entry fee will be $20 per car or tractor. There will be food trucks on site, inflatables, fire trucks, etc. If you have any questions or would like to register your boat or car, please call 205-471-9733 and speak to Russell.
