Get juicy with color in this beginner-friendly painting workshop where we explore the vibrant world of creamy gouache paint! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of layering simple, bold shapes and bright hues to create modern fruit-inspired artwork — think bright citrus slices, cutie kiwis, or pomegranates with personality.
We’ll walk through working with gouache (a very fun medium!), including tips for layering, color blocking, and harnessing the power of this unique paint. You’ll leave with a set of charming fruit study mini artworks — perfect for framing, gifting, or turning into cheerful greeting cards.
No experience needed — just come ready to play with color and leave with something vibrant and totally frame-worthy!

This event is geared towards adult learners, but teens 13+ are welcome to join a parent or guardian.
What You’ll Learn:
✔️ The basics of working with gouache, including mixing and layering colors without muddying
✔️ Explore bright, bold fruit designs using simple shapes and a limited color palette develop a modern, illustrative style (some templates available, but guests are encouraged to sketch too!)
✔️ Work with playful compositions that are dynamic and balanced, with simple to compliment the designs
✔️ Create mini artworks suitable for framing or gifting, with tips on elevating your piece from playful sketch to artful keepsake.
