Presented by the Idaho Jazz Education Endowment.Boise Straight Ahead was formed in 1997 and has been providing big band jazz to Idaho audiences ever since. They love this uniquely American sound and wish to keep this vibrant music alive by honoring the many great performers and composers that gave us these great songs. The band focuses on playing community events in the Treasure Valley and has donated all their performance fees to local non-profits like United Way, Meals on Wheels, Boys & Girls Clubs and Idaho Botanical Gardens. To date, the band has generated more than $100,000 in donations to these organizations. This all-volunteer ensemble seeks to bring their audiences an enjoyable time of listening to this terrific musical genre. They look forward to entertaining the guests at the Sapphire Room in 2025 .
