BOHEMIEN
Having formed the band in 1985, they publish the demotape “Sangue e Arena” in december of the same year. After their live debut at the Piper, historical club in the center of Roma, they play numerous gigs all around Italy and disband in 1987.
Bohémien returned on the stage in 2002 when Alex Buccini (voice), Luciano Liberatore (guitar) and Walter Vincenti (drums), three of the members of the original line up, decided to relive the band that originally existed between 1985 and 1987, publishing the CD “Danze Pagane” (2003) and the EP “La Parata del Circo" (2005), licensed by the In The Night Time. Bohémien also participate in the “Pagan Love Songs–Antitainment Compilation”.
They are invited to international festivals such as Drop Dead in New York (2005 and 2006), Bats Over Milan (2007), Gothic Pogo Party 2008 in Leipzig. In the meantime, a tragic suicide of Walter Vincenti determined a necessary reorganization, culminating in the entry in 2010 Valentina Larussa on drums and Gian Paolo Cesarini on bass.
In 2013 they released the CD "Bohémien" (RBL/Edel).
“Nella Gloria” (Insomnia Art, 2015) is the reissue on Vinyl of much of the material from the very first phase.
In 2023 they headlined the Return to the Batcave Festival in Wroclaw (PL) and released the new single "Fai e Disfai".
In the meantime they hire a new drummer, Marco Di Nicolantonio, already in the 90s of Fasten Belt (together with Alex), one of the most important Italian underground bands, with whom they prepare to face the celebratory dates for the next fortieth anniversary.
