Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O’Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at St Andrew’s Church on the first Tuesday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes. This month’s music is inspired by the traditional travelling people of Eastern Europe, with pieces including ‘Songs My Mother Taught Me’ by Dvořák, Haydn’s Gypsy Rondo, and various Dumkas and other dances.
Concerts last c45m and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RSVP via our website, www.trioparadis.com, is much appreciated but not essential.
