The 13th Annual 5k/10k Turkey Trot takes place on a scenic city run. It starts on the west side ofthe Main Plaza in Boerne, TX and runs through paved and quiet neighborhoods. This is a
competitively timed 5K/10K race, with recognition for the winners (see below) as well as a
Finisher Medal to all runners and 1 mile trail walk participants.
The 5K and 10K take place on the same race course except that the 10K runners run the course
twice. The Trail walk is a meandering mile walk on the Cibolo Creek Trail. Virtual Race is an
option to be run at your own time and location.
At the Y, we believe in a community focused on healthy living, youth development, and social
responsibility. Proceeds will benefit the Boerne Family YMCA scholarship program and
community initiatives.
The Turkey Trot is one of the Hill Country's top races. In 2023 we had over 950 participants, so
register early. Must be registered by Oct. 31 to guarantee a T-shirt and participation medal.
