Researching the anatomy of the human body has always triggered fascination and inspiration for artists. The BodyWorx concept and project embodies the potential to showcase a unique conceptual exhibition. The artistic and conceptual relation between the human body and mind and the medical, magic world of anatomy are the basic conceptual ingredients and will fuel the inspiration of the participating 19 artists during the creation of their artworks that will be included in the BodyWorx exhibition. An extremely diverse and carefully selected international group of artists will be brought together for the realization of this curated exhibition project in which the anatomy of the human body acts as the basic catalyst for the process to revive, interrogate and evolve their inspiration into expressions of contemporary art, reflecting their individual and creative values. The conceptual force and power of the whole, to be shown within this exhibition project, by means of the diversity generated by the selection of artists, will together form a matrix of interlocking visual conversations. The works reflect the breadth of media recognizable in contemporary art, equally divided between two- and three-dimensional interpretations. BodyWorx will provide the selected artists with the unique opportunity to showcase their works to an international audience.
The opening of the BodyWorx exhibition will take place on September 5 2025 at 15.00 in the Sint Amanduskapel (Campo Santo) Visitatiestraat, 9040 in Gent. The exhibition will be officially opened at 15.30 by Mrs. Astrid De Bruycker - Councilor Culture for the City of Gent.

An exhibition that will be on display at Campo Santo in the city of Ghent in Belgium from September 5 till 21 2025.
