BODY TALEJoin a communal practice where we invite the body to tell its ancient tale. Shifting from bodywork into dance and dance into bodywork we awaken the ‘Total Body’.
In this specific workshop we will learn & deepen our research how physical contact inspires movement. We read the signs, symbols, and synergies that the physiology brings up as a reminder of it’s wisdom, mysterious technology and navigation system. Cristina and Cyr will offer a rich pallet of tools to approach the body with gentleness, healing, and openings.
ABOUT CRISTINA
Cristina Hagmann is a Artist, Designer, Yoga teacher and Bodyworker based in Basel.
After graduating Art school, 1997 she won an international recognition as a fashion designer and artist. In 2004, constant travel has led her to exhaustion and burnout.
After recovering through 3 years of a yoga teacher training, she experienced profound transformation of the mind and body.
"My life has always been full of action and movement, ranging from Snowboarding, to Sailing, Capoeira, Dance, Contact Improvisation, Continuum Movement and Yoga.
I view movement as a fundamental part of psychological wellbeing.
Since 2006, I support people who have lost touch with themselves or feel exhausted, trough touch and breath so they can find their way back to trustful and joyful living."
My Practice focuses on somatic stress release and burnout prevention through healing touch, breath, and movement: Movement shiatsu / shintai & structure work / thai massage & osteo thai / biodynamic breath and trauma release / de-armouring. In addition, she is a yoga and embodiment coach and runs regular kundalini & yin yoga courses and various workshops.
ABOUT CYR
I am a Movement Altruist and the creator of Bloom Infinity.
As a facilitator for making the mission of humanity conscious, I share my joy for dance and my love for the interconnectedness between all living forms.
Born in a village of meditators, raised between artistry and sports, I learned to view the world with open eyes.
I danced in several renowned companies such as the Netherlands Dance Theatre, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, or the State Theatre of Hessen as a soloist dancer, allowing myself to work personally with choreographers such as Akram Khan, Wayne McGregor and Sharon Eyal.
During my life, I have had several big injuries that kept me deepening into the mechanics of the human body, so I can allow myself to further share tools as a personal trainer, a body therapist and an embodiment coach for anatomical restructuring, energy field alignment and creating coherent life-postures for a healthy life-style.
Led by my roots in ancient shamanistic teachings, I feel compelled to share and also organize retreats related to movement, health and the sensitivity of spirituality. I am very passionate about the vision that life is a never ending dance.
