The Women's Sunday Morning Group at Discover Christian Church will be starting a new study on February 22 entitled, Biblical Understanding of the Body, Soul, and Spirit.1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ." (NIV)
The Bible is filled with Scripture referencing the body, the soul, and the spirit. Many times, we whiz through the scripture without much thought about what each of these entities mean. Over the next few weeks, we will look at these three words under a magnifying glass, and our understanding of the scripture will fill you with greater understanding about how God uses your body, your soul and your spirit to make you more like Jesus. This study will be 5 lessons.
