At Home in your Body
Exploring your Relationship with Your Body through the lens of Systemic Constellations
A one-day workshop
This workshop is for anyone who has ever felt dissatisfied with or let down by your physical form. Most of us have some negative feelings, niggles, or dissatisfactions about some aspect of our bodies; too big, not big enough, too fat, not strong enough, wrong shape etc.
In modern times our relationship with our bodies is very much on the agenda and yet the outcome of this focus seems to be an increasing alienation from our bodies; a loss of connection or a failure to inhabit our bodies fully. Much of this is fuelled by consumerism and advertising. Traditionally women have been the main targets for this but now men are equally encouraged to worry about their looks, their performance, and their health.
This workshop allows you to explore: How at home are you in your body? How do you feel about your body? Do you love your body? Is there shame? Are there concerns, how much joy do you take in your physical form?
We will be using the lens of Systemic Family Systems Constellations to explore your relationship with your body. This approach offers an opportunity to engage with your body in a new way, inviting conversation, new insights, understanding, compassion and a deeper connection with your body.
Many participants leave with a new respect and awe for their body. Some report feeling a new tenderness and a deeper appreciation.
