Well-known traumatologist Bessel Van der Kolk, describes the body as "keeping the score”. Traumatic experiences result in emotional dysregulation and shatter a person´s belief that the world can be a safe place.?In this workshop, we will engage with relevant theories on the physiological and psychological effects of trauma, and experience body-based interventions in the treatment of trauma, in the frame of Psychodrama and Dance Movement Therapy. Participants will develop proficiency with specific techniques and interventions that can be applied in practice with individuals and groups. The workshop is designed for personal exploration and professional development in a safe and supportive environment.
?Leandra Perrotta is an Italian/Australian Clinical Psychologist and Specialist in Psychotherapy, living in Norway.
She is a Trainer and Supervisor in Psychodrama, Dance Movement Therapy and Transgenerational Therapy. She teaches at IPAP - Post Graduate Institute of Analytical Psychology and Psychodrama in Italy; She is a Trainer and Supervisor at the
Anne Ancelin Schützenberger International School of Transgenerational Therapy. She is Past President of FEPTO - European Federation of Psychodrama Training Organizations - and member of the FEPTO Task Force for Peace Building and Conflict Transformation.
