About this Event
Join artist Alison Cortes as she leads an open-format art workshop with mixed media materials provided while immersed in her exhibition, Bodega333. Registration is limited for this unique creative session and brief artist talk.
Explore the gallery installation with a curious mind and reflect on household products and foods that invoke childhood memories or a sense of nostalgia. Or, let your imagination run free and create new products that might exist in an alternate dimension. Share stories and meet with your community in this exhibition focused on the infinite potential for connection in unlikely spaces.
Materials will include paints, fabrics & embroidery, cardboard sculpture, and more! Alison will assist in sharing any skills necessary to bring your idea to life! This space is for your inner child to explore and play!
This is hosted at El Museo-- 91 Allen St, Buffalo, NY 14202.
We recommend planning to arrive early in order to secure street parking on Allen St, Delaware Ave, or adjacent side streets! There are both free & paid parking options available!
