In this imaginative kids' pottery class, young artists will embark on a creative journey to craft their very own bobbleheads using the fun and accessible pinch pot technique. Step by step, they'll learn how to manipulate clay with their fingers, adding features, expressions, and accessories, bringing their characters to life with a touch of whimsy and a lot of personality. Whether they choose to create a favorite animal, a fantastical creature, or even a miniature version of themselves, this class promises an exciting exploration of clay artistry.
In each class, students will paint their bobbleheads or choose a glaze for their creation. Pieces will be finished, glazed, and fired by SCCA Staff. You will be contacted when your piece is complete and ready for pickup. The firing process take around 4-6 weeks.
Led by SCCA youth instructor, Jeannie Williams.
