This is a delightful and relaxing oil painting class inspired by the timeless charm of Bob Ross himself. Learn about and use the unique wet-on-wet oil painting technique made famous by Bob Ross. At the end of the class, you will have a completed painting to take with you. Whether you are a seasoned painter or picking up a brush for the first time, this hands-on workshop promises joy, inspiration, and a canvas full of possibilities. All supplies are provided. For ages 12+. Instructor: Pat Hitchcock started painting at the age of 16, and teaching at the age of 28. She is certified in the Bob Ross Techniques of Landscapes, Floral, and Wildlife. Hitchcock taught at St. Johns River Community College in St. Augustine, Florida from 1998 until 2004, and alsoat The Bob Ross Workshop in New Smyrna Beach, Florida from 2000 until 2006. She has had additional teach stints in New Zealand, Taipei City, Tiawan, and throughout the southeastern United States. Hitchcock is married and lives in Mill Spring, NC with her husband Frankie. They have two daughters and five grandchildren.
