One of New Zealand's best known folk musicians Bob McNeill tours New Zealand in November 2025.
His songs have been covered by artists in NZ, Australia, the UK and USA. New Zealand Musician magazine compared his songwriting to Bruce Springsteen and Mark Knopfler; the Dominion Post likened him to Jackson Brown, James Taylor, Luka Bloom and Dougie MacLean. His latest album, released in June 2024, is Lost Stars, an extended release on CD and download featuring new recordings and rarities.
McNeill is the winner of three New Zealand Music Awards ("Tuis") and has toured widely in NZ, Australia, Canada, the US and Ireland. His songs tell unusual stories in unfamiliar landscapes, set in his signature blend of folk and rock influences, renowned acoustic and electric guitar playing and unique live sound.
McNeill is a regular fixture on the festival circuit both solo and with his bands Project Feijoa and Even the Lost. In November he brings his intimate solo show to venues around New Zealand, with some surprise special guests from NZ folk royalty along the way.
