About this Event

We are kicking off the first CEO Roundtable Discussion on Wednesday, April 3rd at noon. The guest CEOs leading the April 3rd discussion are Loree Jones, CEO, Philabundance and Marcus Allen, CEO Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence. Future CEO Roundtables are being planned.

The topic of the discussion is “Being the First”. Both Marcus and Loree are the first Black CEOs in the history of their respective organizations. Among the topics Loree and Marcus will discuss are dealing with a majority led board; managing change, supervising senior leadership teams who have never reported to a Black CEO; being the new public face of the organization; the usefulness of “kitchen cabinets”, maintaining work-life balance, managing stress associated with leading and fundraising.
