A chance for all BMW Airhead owners to gather with their machines in the public courtyard at the historic Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum, UK.Last year we had more than one hundred Airheads attending and it was a truly inspiring morning.
If you're staying over with a long journey either end come for opening time. If you're just coming for the day try and get there before 12pm so we can all have a photo together before those with longer journeys head off after midday.
Here's the itinerary:
Don't arrive before 9am.
9 .30am The cafe opens and if you're on a Airhead you can bring it into the courtyard.
There is a pin badge and you'll automatically be entered into our competition (we have around 10 categories with a small prize and certificate for each winner). Please note that the competition is just 'a bit of fun' and shouldn't be taken too seriously! I'd be grateful if you could make a £3 donation which covers the cost of the badge and organising the event (this can be cash or there is a portable card machine).
12.00pm - We'll have a few words and a group photo.
1 .00pm - It will be possible to start taking Airheads out of the inner courtyard.
N .B. - If you need to leave the courtyard before 1.00pm there will be an additional Airhead area in the main car park close to the entrance where you can leave earlier if necessary.
EVERYONE is welcome on any bike, in a car, but please park in the main car park if you're not on an Airhead.
This event is open to all BMW Airheads enthusiasts (whether you have one or not) and is organised by The Airhead Association UK (an informal group of BMW Airhead owners) which you can join on Facebook, or if you don't do the Facebook 'thing' you can communicate with other Airheads via Whatsapp.

If your Airhead is out of action on the day, you can attend on any motorcycle or in a car, but please park in the main car park.
Please note, you don’t need to be a member of our group to attend and we’d particularly welcome members of the BMW Club UK.
If you're looking to camp, there are many campsites in the New Forest including Holmsley Campsite which is very near to the museum and cost £19.
FInally, for those who would like to also take a tour around the museum there's 15% discount (admission usually £13) for all Airheads attending and displaying their bikes in the main courtyard on the day.
