ABOUT GERARD ALAIN
Hailing from Atlanta, GA, and now residing in Nashville, TN, Gerard Alain is a recording artist, songwriter, and producer. Blending a mix of pop, funk, and soul, Gerard's music radiates a distinct energy that's as refreshing as it is infectious. He is influenced by the likes of Janelle Monáe, Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson, and James Brown.
Notably, Gerard Alain made waves with the release of his singles “BLACK JAMES DEAN” and “I GOT IT” which made it on Spotify’s “Best Funk Songs of 2023” Editorial Playlist. In 2024, he released his debut album “OPENING ACT” now streaming everywhere. Gerard's music mission is simple: “Make music people can make memories to”. In which he aims to get his songs played at wedding reception dance floors across the globe and to inspire people to embody self-confidence. His latest release “KING OF THE GETDOWN” is what he calls his “love letter to pop music” and he hopes it inspires his listeners to “GETDOWN!”
