A multi-day workshop designed to teach black men how to create their own men's group
About this Event

This program is designed to build black men’s capacity to create and maintain men’s groups. This workshop is specifically for black men and is inclusive to black men of all walks of life. These spaces are primarily focused on talking groups( which can be general or specific), but can include a variety of activities that men can engage in to build support for one another and reduce isolation. This is a 4 part series that will run bi-weekly. The training is experiential, and participants will have the opportunity to learn about facilitation, vulnerability, logistical concerns, and maintenance. Mental health resources will be provided for participants. Food will be provided for in person participants. Participants will also receive support around securing communal or digital space for future men's groups that they may create.

Program dates:

October 7, 5-7

October 21, 12-2

November 4, 5-7

November 18 ,12-2
