About
Shivaji Maharaj incorporated this fort in Swarajya along with Lohgad, Visapur, Tung and Tikona in 1657. On March 11, 1818, Col. Prother invaded this fort but could not succeed even after prolonged fighting. Finally he succeeded on 14th March, by dropping a cannon ball where the ammunition was stored. Along with this fort the English also conquered Ghangad. To the west of the Mulshi dam is the Mawal of Korbarase. The forts Korigad and Ghangad lay this region. Korigad is built near the Savashni Ghat, which connects Lonavla and Pali. This fort is well known due to its fortification that is still intact.

• 09.30 AM - Small Introduction session trek guidelines & Start the trek
• 11.00 AM - Reach Korigad Top & Explore
• 01.00 PM - Start return trek
• 02.00 PM - Reach back to the Base, Get changed and have a tasty lunch.
• 03.30 PM - start return journey to Mumbai.
• 06.00 PM - Reach Mumbai Approx

• Extra pair of clothes, Sleeping Bag, Mat, Beddings, etc.
• A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has ones hands free while trekking.
• Pleases do not carry sling bags or Jholas.
• Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments.

• Sleeveless, Low neck, Figure hugging, Shirts/Tops, Short Pants, Hot Pant not allowed.
