Hurrah and huzzah, the Ashes is back at the Old George, once again on the Bank Holiday weekend to boot! With lovely landlords, John and Rosie, splendid pub, big children's play area, great beer and food, wonderful cafe, and even the lovely hot showers, we really couldn't be happier. Yes, it is still in the north, but we really feel like we have given you more southern types a jolly good run :) There will be the traditional firepit, so please please bring along any wood you may have. You are very welcome to arrive on the Thursday to camp up after 2pm. For those of you buying tickets in advance, please come to the marquee on arrival to collect your wristbands.Line-up includes the following, in no particular order, with a TBC to come: The Seven Inches, The Daffodildos, Steamtown, The Wild Rabid Untameable Beavers with Wonky Rashes, Indignation Meeting, Wob, Tim Holehouse and the Escape Ghosts, Rites of Hadda, Silver Fox, Jammie Sammy, Alba Ford Medina, The Metatrons, Blyth Power, Kai Carter, Butt Plug BabiesArchie Shuttler/Commie Faggots, The Antipoet, Paul and Wendy Warning, Verbal Warning, Em Hatcher, Boy in the Cupboard, Poorly Trained Radicals, Gob Dylan, Pog, Just a Minute, Rachel Pantechnicon, Boatless Maniacs, Paul Eccentric, The Fete, Doctor Bongo, and The Ashes. Ashes Monday will bring you a live rendition of On the Viking Station.
Food and drinks were excellent last year, and we'll let you know details of what is to be available nearer the time.
Tickets are now on sale on our website, weekend ticket include full camping, day tickets include one night's camping. No EHUs. Did we mention the showers though?

IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING TO US IN A MOTORHOME/CAMPERVAN OR A TOWING A LARGE CARAVAN AND YOU LEAVE THE M18 JUNCTION 6/THORNE PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE TURNING ONTO ‘FERRY ROAD’ TOWARDS FISHLAKE. INSTEAD, CONTINUE ON SELBY ROAD TOWARDS SELBY/SNAITH DIRECTION AND TURN LEFT ONTO ‘BETWEEN RIVERS LANE’.
