About this Event

You may know The Bad Day from their latest album "The Irish Goodbye" which went top 20 in the Official UK Jazz and Blues charts but how did they become one of the
most exciting modern bands in the UK today...

Forged from the fires of the London music scene in 2017, The Bad Day have developed a new genre mixing Americana, Rock n Roll, Blues, Pop, Prog and Classic Rock; described as “Springsteen meets The Killers”

The band’s first album "Table by the wall" came out in 2021 on two labels; Lunaria in the U.K. and P-Vine in Japan, under the bands previous name (The Bad Day Blues Band). The album was a critical success picking up many awards and getting international airplay on BBC, Planet Rock and many others in Japan and Brazil.

The second, more contemporary album "The Bad Day" came out in 2022 under the new name and is very different; a concept rock album. All the songs flow into each other and tell a tragic story of freedom and love. The first single from the album won Classic Rock Magazine’s Track Of The Week.

Mastered at Abbey Road by Miles Showell who worked on Sgt Peppers and is their vinyl specialist. The album has received rave reviews including 9/10 in Classic Rock Magazine and was 3rd in their Top Blues Albums of 2022.

Album number 3 is called The Irish Goodbye and was an official top 20 UK charting album in the Jazz and Blues Category. The lead single "Welcome to the show" in particular receiving plaudits for it's energy.

The Bad Day maintain a healthy live performance schedule, mainly in the U.K. They have played some of the best venues in the world including; Sony Hall - NYC, The 100 Club, Ronnie Scotts, Camden Assembly, 02 Academy, The Isle of Wight Festival, Blackdeer, Festival Pennfest, Love Rocks Festival, Wildfire Festival, Guilfest, HRH Blues Fest, Brezoi Open Air Fest, and many, many others.

Having supported some legendary artists such as multiple Grammy award winners, the band are well respected by their peers.

Frontman Adam Rigg is a member of The Recording Academy/Grammys (New York Chapter).

The Bad Day have endorsements with Guild, Orange, Mono, Ernie Ball, Crom bass, Seydel and other pedal and accessory companies.

The band have featured in some very cool magazines; Bassplayer (UK and US), Classic Rock Magazine and many more. In 2022 the band were front cover stars and feature interviews for Blues Matters Magazine, MNPR and Blues in Britain.

The Bad Day continue to receive regular airplay on BBC Radio 2, BBC introducing, Planet Rock, Radio Caroline, Radio Rock (Brazil), Great Music Stories and many others.
