BLUES RESTART
We wish to invite all Blues dancers to join us for a partnered blues restart workshop - to reconnect to blues and to dancing, and to shake the dust of our partnered blues dancing skills. Simply: To remind ourselves and our bodies and minds what this lovely dance is all about.
Feel free to join us whether you've danced blues for years and years, but have had to take a break during the pandemic, or even if you've just done a basics course earlier. We'll be working on exploring the basics and beyond, focusing on partnered technique and blues connection and aesthetics, but the focus really is on dancing together in a safe environment, to restart and reconnect.
WHEN: Saturday and Sunday 28.-29.8.2021 at 12:00-14:30 (5 hours)

PRICE: 75 €
WHERE: Jazz Factory, Suvilahdenkatu 10, Helsinki (Next to 10 A take the outside stairs up to the second floor and walk till the end and to the right)
LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: English (unless all participants are fluent in Finnish). Finnish can always be used for questions and individual guidance.
NOTE: Currently we can only allow partnered registration and rotation will be done on voluntary basis if at all. We will be carefully following the safety recommendations related to COVID-19 allowing only a restricted number of participants to ensure the recommended safe distance, and kindly requesting all participants to wear face masks. Face masks and hand sanitizers are provided. All these restrictions are subject to change depending on the official recommendations at the time of the workshop.
