Following the huge success of our inaugural Festival in March, we're bringing the best of New Zealand Blues to our Monaco waterfront home, The Honest Lawyer Gardens, Nelson.NZ Blues legends THE FLAMING MUDCATS, Auckland's hottest rhythm & blues band are the star headliners of 8 hours of music.
Christchurch's 16 year old rising Blues guitar sensation LACHLAN PLATT will make his Nelson debut.
The best of Tasman Bay Blues performers complete the bill - Le Gumbo Combo & Trudi Wilson (with star guests) rip into 50s New Orleans R&B. Rich & The Poor Boys bring the 60s Brit Blues Boom and Chicago classics. Tasty ace guitarist Darrin Andrews mixes Delta, funky and modern Blues with his band Rinholio. Tasman Bay firm-faves The Rubber Biscuit Band will deliver their storming 'Blues & Beyond' show. Guitar legend Ivan Outram will be scaling the fretboard heights backed by his fine West Coast Blues Band.
