Join us for the first edition of Blues Intensives, a new series of workshops designed to challenge, inspire, and connect dancers of all levels.In this session, we will be focusing on Chicago Triple — an idiom from the Black American social dance culture of mid-20th century Chicago.
Danced in house parties and juke joints to live blues music, Chicago Triple is characterised by a triple-step rhythm, and a grounded aesthetic, with a conversational give-and-take of partnered improvisation.
Whether you're brand new to Blues dance or a seasoned mover, this workshop has something for everyone.
