Delighting audiences with his primitive deep guitar tones and whiskey-drenched vocals, Frank Sultana is a truly authentic blues artist that’s captivating the country. Since his first release, ‘Blues From the Lost Motel’ in 2021, he now has seven albums and four EPs under his belt, with hundreds of performances a year. He has recently played at the premier blues festivals in Australia and the USA, including the Blues train and the Big Blues Bender out of Florida and Locally Bluesfest Byron Bay and Blues on Broadbeach.Frank and local favorites, The Honey Badgers will always share a special bond as they shared the same stage at the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis Tennessee in 2023 in the final of the International Blues Challenge. Frank went on to win his category outright and the Badgers finished in the top six. Their debut album reached number one in the ABARAC charts in 2024.
Joining the lineup as part of the "Beretta and Sullivan Duo" is Nathan Beretta, who's album "Love Taxman" is currently number one on the Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Chart and Dan is one of the best harp players in the country. Nathan Beretta is a real blues man, his guitar playing & vocals is authentic yet modern. Beretta make his mark in the Australian Blues Scene with award winning band " Blue Eyes Cry".
Nathan has shared the stage with many Australian Legends such as Ash Grunwald ,Robert Susz ( Dynamic Hepnotics) Shane Pacey ( Bondi Cigars), Geoff Achison , Lloyd Spiegel , and Chris Wilson just to name a few. When it comes to festivals Nathan has performed throughout Australia opening up for international acts such as Anne Popovich, Jon Cleary, and Joe Louis Walker.
Growing up with Blues jazz and soul in the household, Nathan has brought his own unique style to the table. Influenced by artists such as Ronnie Earl, Albert Collins, Guy King and Jimmie Vaughn Nathan plays from the soul with an “all killer no filler” approach.
With Nathan is one of the finest blues harp players in the country in Dan Sullivan.
The last time this show was presented at Noarlunga arts it sold out in record time and received rave reviews.
