Blues dancing is an umbrella term for a family of living Black American dances that evolved across the U.S. and act as the roots of many other movements. The different styles were shaped by different Blues music genres from the 1800’s to today. These genres vary in instrumentation, rhythms and tempos leading to a variety of different expressions throughout Blues idioms. Connection in Blues ranges from close embrace to solo movement, and your connection to the music is prized as much as your connection to your partner.Price: $10 for Lesson, $15 for Dance ($5 with a valid student ID for all DJed events)
