Welcome to the first Blues Dance Saturday in 2022, finally! The theme of the night is Jazz Blues and the class topic is *Jazz Blues with limited space*!An open level Blues dance class will kick-start the evening, followed by an evening of social dancing to blues music played by local DJs. You may join for the class or the social dancing or both!
CLASS
Topic: Jazz Blues with limited space - Ideas for dancing to jazzy blues tunes when the floor is crowded or you don't feel like moving in space in a classic ballroom blues kind of way.
Teachers: Arja Sahlberg & Pinja Juvonen
This class is open level, but best suited for dancers with at least some blues dance background, as we won't be covering blues basics. The class will give new ideas and tools also for more advanced dancers, especially if you're less familiar with the topic of the day. Voluntary partnered rotation.

Jazz Factory, Suvilahdenkatu 10, Helsinki (Next to 10 A take the outside stairs up to the second floor and walk till the end and to the right)
COVID-19 GUIDELINES
We will be following the COVID-19 guildelines carefully, and might end up requiring the COVID Passport again.
Please note that the event will take place only if official restrictions allow. We will follow all the guidelines in effect during the time of the event including but not limited to wearing masks, providing hand sanitizers, limiting the amount of participants, possibly requiring the COVID Passports etc.
Please stay home if you have any flu symptoms. We kindly ask everyone to pay special attention to your hand hygiene. You are very welcome to dance only with your own partner or otherwise limit the number of dance partners during the evening. Thank you for being considerate towards the other dancers in any way possible to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for everyone! The organizers and teachers are fully vaccinated.

We like to keep our events open for all, thus it's also important for us to keep the party a safe space for everyone attending. Please feel encouraged to turn to the organizer if you have any questions about blues dancing, the social norms followed, or have any questions regarding the code of conduct.

Please send a message to [email protected] if you need to cancel your registration. Please also note that registration is binding and we can't unfortunately pay back a paid registration fee, but you may transfer your participation fee to someone else. Thank you for your understanding!
