Oscar Thorop:
"I am a professional musician and have been playing guitar since I was 8 years old – with a particular love for the blues. Over the years I have performed at countless events, creating an atmosphere that captures the soul of the music. With my guitar and vocals I bring both presence and energy to the audience, whether it is at intimate concerts or larger parties."
There will be a short introduction for the dance, so everyone can join. No matter the dance experience. Then the floor is open for social dance.
Whether you are into social, solo, or partner blues dancing, or a mixture of these, come and get your dancing shoes on and join us for a cosy evening of dancing, music, and great company.
When blues developed people often danced in small juke-joint. Small venues or private homes where there was limited spaces, and you had to dance close and tiny.
