The Swaps will be joined by Steve Walwyn (Dr Feelgood, Dirt Road Band) and Jon Read (The Specials, Project Blackbird). Big blues bash!Our blues club nights have become one of our most popular evenings of the month. And deservedly so too. They get better and better and are now sold out until June.
We have just finalised (pretty much) the line-up for July. There may be one or two more surprise guests but a couple of fabulous musicians have already confirmed.
Steve Walwyn is one of the best blues guitarists in the coutry, having performed with Dr Feelgood for 32 years.
Many Temperance regulars will know Jon Read through Project Blackbird . He was also the trumpet player for T he Specials for many years.
Our resident house band, The Swaps , will be hosting, so Beth, Adam, Tomo and James will be peforming their own songs with Steve and Jon as guests.
There will also be an extended jam at the end and unexpected and unrehearsed collaborations. Keeps the sound guy guessing. Always brilliant evenings.
