January and February sold out immediately and March blues club is ready to go. The second Wednesday of every month has become the hottest ticket in town. The crazy popularity of these nights means that we can spread our net a little wider and this time The Swaps will be welcoming two brand new guests who have been making large waves on the national scene for the last couple of years.
Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter, C Bone has played from the beach to the streets to the festivals, solo to big band. He delivers his own hybrid brand of musical self expression formed from blues, soul and rock’n’roll. As Blues Matters Magazine says "C Bone’s got it all. Hailed by Rolling Stone for an “astonishing mastery of his craft”, Ed Blunt is a multi-instrumentalist storyteller whose songs will both make you laugh and gently break your heart. Drawing comparisons to James Taylor, John Martyn and Paul Simon, Ed’s endearing stage presence and candid storytelling have won him a devoted following.
As ever, there will be an extended jam at the end, unrehearsed collaborations and the excitement of seeing talented musicians perform together for the very first time in our brilliant basement blues bar.

Blues Club is Hosted by The Swaps
Finalists in the 2025 UK Blues Awards, The Swaps are Beth Brooks (vocals), James Knight (guitar and vocals), and Adam Phillips (guitar and vocals). They have been honing their blend of blues, soul and folk for many years in different line-ups but have recently found the real magic (and national recognition) as an acoustic trio.
The Swaps build most of their music around Beth’s jaw-dropping vocals and the instinctive guitar interplay between James and Adam. The dynamics and variety of textures they achieve with only two instruments and three voices is astonishing. All three are songwriters, which perhaps explains the variety and exceptional quality of their material.
