The Swaps – Adam, Beth and James – would like to thank everyone that has made 2025 blues clubs at Temperance such a success. The shows keep selling out quicker and quicker, and while each one is very different, they all seem to end up as a whole load of fun. And the music itself often reaches quite stratospheric heights.
And this year, saw the release of their first studio album "Fast Train".
Our December blues club sold out in record time. Even before it went on sale! Tickets were snapped up to everyone who pre-ordered the new album. An album that went into the top 20 of the official folk charts.
By popular demand, we are putting on a SECOND blues club in December. This will again feature, The Swaps, Shanade and Green Hands too.
This time, The Swaps will be performing NEW songs to blues club (including some old forgotten songs from the archives) AND also some requests - do put in your suggestions as part of the booking process!
Green Hands, in a rare solo acoustic outing, are joining the party to spread some Christmas cheer and play some music from forthcoming album, ‘Everything’s Proof’ due out early 2026. Expect a blend of oddball indie, power-pop and 70s folk, maybe even a suitably festive cover too if you’re lucky.
So thanks to the great musicians, the regular audience members, and the new fans that join along the way.
Full line-up will be announced in due course but you know it is going to be another Christmas cracker!
There may well be mince pies, mulled wine and other Christmas things.
