BLUES BASICS WEEKEND
Welcome to try out blues dancing - partnered, solo or both!

Due to the COVID-19 related restrictions, we've had to delay the workshop to February.
19.2. PARTNERED BLUES
On Saturday you will get familiar with the basics of partnered Blues dancing. We will be touching on issues such as the pulse, posture, some basic moves, partnered connection, blues music and a tiny bit about the history of blues dancing.
20.2. SOLO BLUES
Sunday will introduce you to solo blues. Whether you're interested in partnered or solo dancing, knowing the basics of solo blues is very useful and makes dancing more fun and versatile.
WHEN: 19.2.-20.2.2022 at 12:00-14:30. Join for one or two days.

PRICE:
70 € / weekend (2 x 2,5 h)
35 € / Saturday or Sunday (1 x 2,5 h)
WHERE: Jazz Factory, Suvilahdenkatu 10, Helsinki (Next to 10 A take the outside stairs up to the second floor and walk till the end and to the right)
LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION: English (unless all participants are fluent in Finnish). Finnish can always be used for questions and individual guidance.
NOTES ABOUT COVID:
COVID-Passport will be checked on entrance from all participants to ensure the safety of the event.
We will be carefully following the safety recommendations related to COVID-19 to date. This includes allowing only a restricted number of participants to ensure the recommended safe distance, and kindly recommending all participants to wear face masks. Face masks and hand sanitizers are provided. All these restrictions are subject to change depending on the official recommendations at the time of the workshop.

3) For partnered workshop: Your role (Follow/Lead/Anything goes)
4) Voluntary: Your partners name (registering with a partner is not necessary but it might help you jump the queu).
