Donald Underwood Thompson and Chris “Jenx” Jenkins will lead a performance in the Schechter Auditorium in the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library on Tuesday, September 24 at 6:30 p.m.. Thompson and Jenkins will perform a sampling of this original American genre that has so strongly influenced today’s music, while they tell stories that will provide a glimpse into the lives of iconic blues players.
