We proudly welcome The Bluegrass Reunion Band - one of the premier bluegrass groups in the Stateline area - for their first visit to 'the creek'. Together for over 40 years, that band members are: John Lindblade (guitar), Mike Bratt (Bass), Steve Strombeck (fiddle/Mandolin) and Dave Goodwin (banjo). Their music is a mix of up-tempo traditional and contemporary bluegrass music featuring strong harmony and instrumental arrangements. The band’s resume includes opening for Bill Monroe, the Osborne Brothers, Old Town School of Folk Music, U/WI Kenosha spring concert series and many local performances and regional Bluegrass festivals. IT'S GETTING DARK EARLIER, AND WE ARE NOW IN OUR FALL SCHEDULE: most of our Concerts On The Creek will be matinees that run from 3pm until about 5pm. Doors open at 2pm. There is no admission charge, but goodwill donations from the audience pay the musician(s) and help to defray the church's event hosting costs. Attendance is limited to 150. Those who wish guaranteed general seating* regardless of what time they arrive may make an early 'down payment' donation in the form of a $5 ticket at https://www.zeffy.com/ticketing/bluegrass-reunion-band-3pm-10-11--2025 . The recommended total donation for non-reserved walk-in guests is $10, but any amount is appreciated. Light refreshments and bottled soft beverages will be available. We offer free off-street parking for 95 vehicles and our all-on-one-floor listening area is easily accessible; the acoustics are excellent.
