4-Hands Brewing Company is excited to welcome Show Me State Bluegrass Jam at the downtown brewery for the monthly Bluegrass Breakout, Saturday evening 1/31/26 from 7-9p!The warm up jam will be open to all. When enough grassers arrive we will breakout into smaller groups to take turns performing short jams on stage! Single mic set up.
The group with the best set will be awarded the coveted perpetual kick a$$ trophy. The trophy will be passed each month to a new group.
This is an opportunity for the intermediate and advanced players to team up, help spread their wings, and challenge each other by sharing/teaching songs from their bluegrass catalog. You may experience faster tempos, sweet harmonies, longer lead breaks, and newer/modern bluegrass tunes that will expand our repertoire. Acoustic instruments only.
Pickers are always welcome to pick off-stage and encouraged to learn the songs as they are introduced.
Don’t play an instrument? No problem! Bring your friend and/family to the brewery and watch some of the areas best bluegrass jam musicians in action!
