Hi folks! Welcome to the very first OFFICIAL (mostly) Blue Car Meet n' Drive event! 🚙 It was cool that so many of you actually wanted this to happen, because the idea for this mostly came about feverishly, late at night, due to overheating in my room and becoming delirious as a result 🙃 so that's neat!
Any/all blue vehicles welcome, as long as it can hit 60 km and up because even though I'd like to accommodate blue power scooters, I don't think they're road legal? Unless someone has spare rocket launchers at home idk
A few ground rules! Even though the point of this event is absurdity, I do want to ensure that everyone is navigating this silliness responsibly, and with camp!
1. This is meant to be an all-ages safe space! I did see some folks looking to bring their kiddos. Even though I strongly encourage road rage in any other situation 👹 let's try and keep the vulgar language and crude behavior to a minimum.
2. Please drive/traverse responsibly! The last thing I'd ever want is anyone participating in this event to put themselves or others on the road in danger. Let's try and be as SAFELY blue as possible! 🚙
3. Vehicle decorations/balloons/signs are welcome and ENCOURAGED! The goal here is to be as gaudy and visible as possible. I may bring a megaphone... we shall see ((ominous))
4. If you have snacks or beverages to bring (non-alcoholic please, let's not get TOO wild) you are more than welcome to do so! I will be supplying my own sweet treats but imagine an optional potluck?? That'd be cool as heck.
