January’s Bluebeat is meant to serve as a rally cry for the ska community and all Americans to unite and stand up against the hate espoused by our next President’s MAGA movement. Record selections will focus on songs that convey messages of love and equality, and messages that oppose racism, sexism, bigotry, greed, hate, abuse of power, etc. The Bluebeat spins are always free but donations will be collected for the ACLU at this month’s spin because there will be many battles in the courts needed to protect the rights of all our brothers and sisters during this next presidential term. “Bluebeat at the Blue Moon” is St. Louis’ ska-rocksteady-reggae all-vinyl record spin at Pop’s Blue Moon! $3 Red Stripe Jamaican lager beer special, along with lots of NA/CBD/THC options and a full bar at St. Louis’ mindful and oldest bar. (canna-friendly)
