About this Event
Blue Zones Project Petaluma is partnering with UCC Petaluma and BZP Project Ambassador Brittany Hatcher of B The Vibe Collective, for a 10-week somatic breathwork program.
Schedule & Attendance: This is a weekly 10-week program from Thurs Sept 12 to Thur Nov 14, except for no class on Sept 26. We encourage you to sign up for as many of the 10 weeks as possible, to stay consistent in your habits, build community, and fully experience the benefits.
What to Expect: This is a somatic practice that uses the breath to move you away from the busy mind and into the feeling body. This is an experiential, 60-minute active meditation that uses breath as the vehicle to access and connect to the wisdom of the body. This practice is done laying on the floor with a yoga mat and other optional props for comfort. Music and verbal guidance is used to enhance the experience.
Benefits: Participants are likely to experience a wide range of things including but not limited to a regulated nervous system, mental clarity and insights, improved sleep patterns, settled mind and connection to their physical bodies.
What To Bring: Yoga mat, comfortable/loose fitting clothes, and anything else for extra comfort (blanket, pillow, eye mask, etc.)
